As long as Milbury isn’t involved, I can at least deal with it.

I don't get why some teams get upset about lack of national games. If I could, I'd have zero Flyers games on the national broadcast.

As someone who lives in Florida, I like national broadcasts. But I usually mute the sound and listen to some music instead.

I don’t mind the announcers, being in Florida most announcers are an upgrade over the locals.

Crazy thing

I prefer watching the game at home over going.

Anyone have any idea when the promotional schedule gets released? I feel like it's usually some time in August but maybe not til the end of the month.

Why do you think we have 20 games? It's pretty simple, every year it's the same teams with the majority of games and if you can't figure out why good luck to you.

Yeah, I’m in DC, so these are the days I can head to the bar and watch.

I’m thrilled there are 20. Not like I can hear the tv there anyway

My favorite games are the HNIC games—2 I think. The Canadian bias against the Flyers is pretty thick but the Canadian broadcasts are just heads and shoulders better than anything NBC puts out. Plus a call from Chris Cuthbert or Jim Hugheson is music to my ears - not to mention fantastic color analysis from Craig Simspon. That being said I will tip my hat to Brian Boucher. He's becoming a heckuva broadcaster.

I enjoy Bouch but he focuses wayyy to much on goalies, i guess expected because he is one but I don't want to hear about goalies, it's boring.

I disagree. I feel like he spreads it out evenly. Just because he's a goalie doesn't mean he can't speak on wingers or centerman winning face-offs. He played in the NHL for 13 season.

Always watch the Canadian feed, if it's available.

US national broadcasts are equal parts pedantic, obnoxious and cringey. Local ones, including the Flyers', are biased to the point of comedy.

The Flyers local broadcast isn't that bad. They're legitimate professionals, Coatsey withstanding. The over-corportization of these events is the worst aspect. Cutting to the studio during the game quickly to let the viewer know that at the intermission there will be an 'intermission live' studio show featuring corporate guy 1. Also forcing coaches to talk strategy during the game - is just ridiculous. Bonus cringy points if it's Pierre McGuire doing it.
